Risk reduction materials including booklets, brochures, handouts, and other resources are described below. Click on the links for materials available to download and print as a PDF. Your local SIDS Coordinator may have a supply of these resources in their original format. Selected materials may also be available through the California SIDS Program.     Babies Sleeping Safe ~ Co-Sleeping Safely Handout (Multi-Languages) was developed by Contra Costa Health Services and is for parents, families, and caregivers whose primary language is not English. This single page fact sheet outlines recommended infant care practices which promote safe sleeping and tips for parents on how to provide a safe co-sleeping environment. The handout comes in a camera-ready master format suitable for reproduction. English, Farsi, Hmong, Laotian, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
