    Caring About Kids: Talking to Children About Death is a 16-page, illustrated booklet for parents and caregivers that gives general information on children's awareness of death, communication, developmental stages and their effects, religion, death, and funerals. It does not specifically address the death of a sibling. English.

    Clergy's Response: A Baby Dies/A Family Grieves is a booklet for members of the clergy who are helping guide families dealing with a SIDS death. It is non-denominational, and appropriate for various religious traditions and groups. English.

It addresses this unique loss with sensitivity and contains information on how parents can take care of themselves and the living baby. English.     Healing a Father's Grief is a 24-page booklet for grieving fathers that talks about typical male roles, the problems they cause in grieving, and the differences in grieving between men and women.     Helping Children Grieve is a booklet for anyone caring for a child whose baby brother or sister has died of SIDS. It is a gentle guide to helping children understand and cope with feelings of grief. English and Spanish.

    Sam's Story is a 32-page, full-color booklet for children who have lost a sibling to SIDS. It is a story of a boy and his family coping with the death of his baby brother.     Caregivers Hurt, Too is a 27-minute video. The first part is in English, then the program is repeated in Spanish. The videotape features what happens when SIDS occurs in childcare. It covers emergency actions, law enforcement interview, meeting parents, how the caregiver feels, and SIDS risk reduction behaviors.

    Reaching Out: SIDS and the Emergency Department Staff Video is a 30-minute videotape for emergency department staff.     • SIDS - From a Personal Perspective is a 60-minute videotape where parents share their SIDS experiences focusing on the immediate event as a tool to teach the skills to interact compassionately with families and others affected by a SIDS incident.
    • SIDS and Differential Diagnosis of Sudden Unexpected Death and Conducting the Death Scene Investigation is a 90-minute videotape featuring clarification of the differential diagnosis of a possible SIDS investigation.
