Training and Conferences
The California SIDS Program conducts training for those people interested in becoming peer counselors and support group facilitators to newly bereaved SIDS families. We also coordinate the California SIDS Fall Conference every October, which is designed for SIDS families and others involved with SIDS.

    Are you a parent, grandparent, family member, childcare provider or foster parent, affected by a SIDS death? Are you interested in learning how to help newly bereaved SIDS families? Consider being trained as a peer contact.   • Annual California SIDS Fall Conference
    This annual event is designed for SIDS parents, professionals, and others involved and affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The conference explores a multitude of SIDS-related issues, including the latest research trends, and offer a supportive opportunity to exchange information through networking and sharing.
